My skin in Miami humidity, honestly
A shorter routine than people expect, one non-negotiable, and the two things I only use when I travel.
Miami has a way of editing a skin-care routine for you. Anything too heavy announces itself immediately. Over the years, mine has become shorter, calmer, and much more consistent.
In the morning I rinse, use a light antioxidant serum, and apply mineral sunscreen. The sunscreen is the non-negotiable. I keep one by the door and another in my bag because the best product is still useless when you forget it at home.
At night, I use a cleansing balm if I wore makeup, then a gentle cleanser and one treatment. I no longer stack active ingredients just because they promise different things. My skin is better when I ask less of it.
Travel is the exception. A face mist and a richer cream come with me on flights, and then disappear back into the cabinet when I am home. The routine does not need to be impressive. It needs to be easy enough that I will still do it when the day has been very long.
